Creamy Caesar Massaged Kale Salad
1 recipe Massaged Kale Salad
1-2 Tbs. tahini
big squeeze lemon juice
dash garlic powder
several shakes Bragg's Nutritional Yeast* (start with less and add to your liking)
4-5 grinds black pepper
Add tahini, lemon juice, and garlic powder to Basic Salad recipe. Massage until well incorporated and kale is creamy. Add nutritional yeast and stir to incorporate. Taste for seasoning, more lemon, a pinch of salt, etc. Transfer to serving bowl and top with additional nutritional yeast and black pepper.
Nutritional yeast has a nutty, cheesy flavor. It's a complete protein and a good source of B-vitamins.
I like to add crispy chickpea poppers to this salad as well for a filling protein boost.
